My Story

After graduating from the University of Derby with First-Class Honours in Architectural Technology, and later completing a master’s in Sustainable Architecture & Healthy Building Design - also with First-Class Honours - I stepped into the industry eager to learn and push my craft further. Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of projects, from intimate residential extensions to large commercial developments, each one adding depth to my understanding of how people live, work, and experience space. These experiences have shaped not only my technical skillset, but the values and perspective I bring to every project.

The spark for Studio PICK began on a quiet walk in the countryside, where I noticed how naturally the outdoors can lift our mood, steady our thoughts, and restore a sense of balance. It struck me how rarely this emotional connection to nature is truly considered within everyday architectural practice, despite its profound impact on our wellbeing. That realisation became the foundation for Studio PICK: designing spaces that support people emotionally as much as they perform functionally.

Outside the studio, my drive to keep pushing myself shows through in sport and hiking, and my interests in photography and art continue to shape how I see composition, materiality, and light. This blend of discipline and creativity drives me to continually refine my work and seek the best possible outcomes for my clients.

My aim is to bring a more personal, welcoming presence to the industry - professional and detail-focused, yet warm, approachable, and genuinely invested in the people I work with. Through Studio PICK, I design spaces that don’t just look good, but genuinely enhance everyday life through thoughtful consideration of natural light, material choices, and the environments that help us feel most ourselves.
